Shipping policy

1. ORDER PROCESSING TIMES

We aim to dispatch all in-stock jewellery orders within 1–3 business days.

Custom, engraved, personalised, or resized items require additional production time:

  • Custom-made jewellery: 4–6 weeks

  • Engraving & resizing: Additional 3–7 days

  • Special commissions: Timeframe will be confirmed by email

You will receive an email notification when your order has been dispatched.


2. UK SHIPPING OPTIONS & DELIVERY TIMES

We ship using Royal Mail and trusted insured couriers.

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48: 2–3 business days

  • Royal Mail Special Delivery (insured): Next business day by 1pm

  • Insured Courier (high-value orders): 1 business day

Delivery times do not include production times.


3. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We ship worldwide.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Europe: 3–7 business days

  • USA & Canada: 5–10 business days

  • Rest of World: 7–14 business days

International orders may be delayed by customs processing, which is outside our control.


4. SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and service selected.

High-value orders may be automatically upgraded to a fully insured courier service for security.


5. TRACKING & INSURANCE

All orders include tracking.

High-value orders are sent using insured services for added protection. Tracking details will be emailed once your item has been dispatched.


6. DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITY

Once your order has been dispatched and accepted by the courier:

Risk of loss passes to the customer.

Hera Fine Jewellery is not liable for:

  • Courier delays

  • Customs delays

  • Missed delivery attempts

  • Address errors provided by the customer

We will assist in communicating with couriers where needed.


7. SIGNATURE REQUIRED

Most shipments require a signature upon delivery to ensure the safety of your jewellery.

If you are unavailable, you may need to arrange redelivery or collection with the courier.


8. INCORRECT ADDRESSES

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate before completing your order.

Orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer cannot be refunded or replaced.
If the parcel is returned to us, redelivery charges will apply.


9. INTERNATIONAL TAXES & DUTIES

For orders outside the UK:

  • Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are not included in our prices

  • These charges are determined by your local customs authority

  • The customer is responsible for paying any additional fees

We cannot estimate or refund customs charges.


10. DAMAGED ITEMS IN TRANSIT

If your jewellery arrives damaged:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours at hera.finejewels@gmail.com

  2. Provide photos of:

    • The packaging

    • The item

    • The shipping label

  3. Keep all original packaging, as couriers require it for claims

We will arrange repair, replacement, or a courier claim.


11. LOST OR MISSING PARCELS

If your parcel appears lost:

  • A courier investigation must be completed (typically 10–15 business days)

  • We will support you throughout the process

  • A replacement or credit will be issued once loss is confirmed by the courier

Additional coverage is available via our Aegis Protection Plan.
